I was inducted into the Florenceville Rotary Club in January 2021, seeking a way to give back to the community. I  accepted my invitation to join the club. The pandemic made it challenging to connect to the community. Still, it was a great way to get to know my fellow Rotarians. After many months of meeting virtually, I stuck with it!  Helping out when I could by delivering a hot meal to the elderly that other club members prepared; I also accepted a position to sit on the Florenceville-Bristol recreation NCRC funding-raising community as a Rotarian and was part of the drug strategy committee rotary club.

2022 has been much more eventful as a Rotarian and my household. Known as a Rotarian in the community, I was asked to host an international exchange high school student from Spain this year. Without much hesitation, My husband, Luke Brennan, and I were happy to provide that experience for the community, the school, ourselves and our exchange student Aitana. We did not hesitate to get Aitana engaged in the community. Aitana's first few mornings here were spent at the River Bend Ballon Festival as part of the balloon Rotary flight crew. The three of us enjoyed the fantastic opportunity to participate in such a huge event! Atiana and I volunteer every Tuesday morning to help the Bristol Elementary School with its breakfast program.

I enjoy doing what I can in our community. Running my own business makes it challenging to find the time. But I know the time I can give is much appreciated and helpful in being part of great causes in the community as a Rotarian.
